The setting is looking to appoint a permanent Acting Teacher from 1st September on a full-time basis. The successful Acting Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across a range of age groups, support students in developing performance skills, contribute to productions and performances, and play an active role in the continued success of the department.

The successful Acting Teacher will have:

• QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Acting, Drama or Performing Arts within a secondary or post-16 setting
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for performance
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• The ability to inspire, motivate and challenge students of varying abilities
• A collaborative and proactive approach to supporting wider school life
