Acrylic Fabricator

T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Display Production Operative to join our client based in Leicester on a permanent basis.

This is a excellent opportunity to join a small, friendly team who offer excellent training to develop your skills further. This role would suit someone who has Point of Sale fabrication experience and has come from a hands on, plastic, woodworking or joinery background.

Display Production Operative Job Benefits;

• £24,784.50 -£31,200 per annum depending on experience
• Day shift Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 4:30pm
• 28 days holiday including bank holidays rising to 33 days with length of service
• Paid overtime available after 37.5 hours paid at 1.5
• Company pension scheme

Display Production Operative Job Responsibilities;

• Review technical drawings
• Assemble and construct the products to create Point of Sale display products  
• Use a variety of hand tools and workshop tools to trim, cut and fit components into the final product
• Use heat benders and glue syringes to make each product
• Conduct quality checks on finished products
• Adhere to health and safety regulations
• Any other associated task as required

Display Production Operative Person Specification;

• Must have previous experience in point of sale (POS) fabrication and production work
• Experience doing acrylic fabrication is desirable but not essential
• Ability to follow technical drawings, measurements and written instructions
• Ability to work within a team or with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to learn
