We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Acoustics Lead to join their dynamic team. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to lead technical initiatives, foster industry relationships, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions within the acoustics sector.
Responsibilities
As the Acoustics Lead, your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of the company''s product range.
- Leading technical support for customers, ensuring exceptional service and expertise.
- Overseeing the development, maintenance, and delivery of the LivEnviro live-to-web monitoring system.
- Communicating with key suppliers on technical matters.
- Representing the company at Institute of Acoustics (IOA) and other technical meetings.
- Providing technical training for colleagues to enhance internal expertise.
- Supporting the sales team, particularly with complex projects.
- Assisting with marketing activities, including social media, website updates, and advertising.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree in acoustics or a related field.
- Membership (or working towards membership) of the Institute of Acoustics (IOA).
- Significant experience and up-to-date knowledge of environmental and/or building acoustics.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving.
Day-to-Day
Your daily activities will involve:
- Providing expert technical support to customers and colleagues.
- Collaborating with suppliers and industry professionals to stay at the forefront of acoustics technology.
- Leading the development and delivery of cutting-edge monitoring systems.
- Representing the company at industry events and technical meetings.
- Supporting marketing and sales efforts to promote the company''s products and services.
