Acoustic Tester

A growing environmental and acoustic consultancy based in Manchester is seeking an Acoustic Tester to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone in the early stages of their acoustics career who is looking to develop hands-on experience across a range of projects across the Manchester region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out environmental noise surveys in a variety of settings
• Conducting sound testing and on-site acoustic measurements
• Assisting with data collection, analysis, and reporting
• Supporting senior team members with project delivery
• Working both on-site and in-office, with a strong emphasis on fieldwork

Requirements:

• A relevant degree or background in acoustics, environmental science, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Willingness to work on-site and travel as required
• Basic data handling and reporting skills

This role offers a mix of practical, site-intensive work and analytical tasks, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both fieldwork and technical problem-solving.
