My client, a well-established environmental consultancy, is looking for an Acoustic Consultant to join its established acoustics team in the Berkshire area. Day-to-day duties of an Acoustic Consultant:

• Undertaking Environmental Noise and Vibration Surveys, Assessments and Monitoring
• Carrying Out Noise Modelling and Acoustic Calculations using Industry-Standard Software
• Preparing Technical Reports, Assessments and Recommendations
• Supporting Building Acoustics and Sound Insulation Assessments and Testing
• Providing Acoustic Advice to Clients, Architects and Engineers
• Liaising with Clients and Project Teams to Support the Successful Delivery of Projects

Essential Skills and Experience:

• A Relevant Degree or Postgraduate Qualification in Acoustics or a Related Discipline
• Good Technical Knowledge of Acoustics, Noise and Vibration
• Experience in Noise Modelling and Technical Report Writing
• Corporate membership of the Institute of Acoustics (IOA)
• A Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable skills and experience

Experience across environmental noise, building acoustics or vibration assessments would be advantageous, alongside strong communication, organisational and project management skills.
