The role offers the flexibility of hybrid working, with options to be based from the London, Manchester, Leeds, or Leicester offices. The successful candidate will focus primarily on the environmental side of acoustics, engaging with a variety of interesting and complex projects. The candidate will be responsible for independently carrying out surveys, producing detailed reports, and managing client relationships. Additionally, the role will involve contributing to business development efforts, ensuring the continued success and growth of the acoustics division.Key Responsibilities:Conducting acoustic surveys and assessments for environmental projectsPreparing technical reports based on survey findingsManaging multiple projects and ensuring timely delivery of servicesDeveloping and maintaining strong relationships with clientsContributing to business development and expanding the acoustics portfolioOverseeing junior consultants and providing guidance where requiredEnsuring compliance with relevant standards and regulationsRepresenting the company in meetings and at eventsQualifications and Skills:A degree in Acoustics, Environmental Science, or a related fieldRelevant professional experience in environmental acoustics, including project management and client interactionStrong technical expertise in conducting acoustic surveys and preparing reportsExperience with noise mapping, noise impact assessments, and sound insulation testingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to manage client relationships and deliver projects successfullyA proactive approach to business developmentFamiliarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 9613, BS 4142)Membership or working towards membership with the Institute of Acoustics (IOA) is desirableBenefits and ApplicationThe company offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including flexible working arrangements, professional development opportunities, and a supportive team environment.
