ACOUSTIC CONSULTANT - -32,000 to -45,000 + Benefits
A leading environmental and acoustic consultancy is looking for an experienced ACOUSTIC CONSULTANT to join its growing team based in York. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong and commercially aware professional to work across a diverse portfolio of environmental noise, building acoustics, and infrastructure projects.
As an ACOUSTIC CONSULTANT, you''ll be involved in noise modelling, acoustic assessments, and site surveys, while liaising with clients, planners, and design teams. You will also contribute to the delivery of high-quality technical reports and help mentor junior team members.
We''re looking for an ACOUSTIC CONSULTANT with:
2-5+ years'' experience in acoustic consultancy
Strong technical skills in CadnaA, SoundPLAN, or similar software
Knowledge of BS4142, BS8233, BB93, and environmental noise regulations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Physics, or related discipline
Full UK driving licence
This York-based role offers a -32,000 to -45,000 salary, hybrid working, pension, private healthcare, CPD support, and a clear progression path to Senior level.
