Accuracy Checking Technician

Evolve are recruiting for a well-known independent Pharmacy client who are seeking an Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) to join their team. In this role, you’ll focus on the accurate and efficient preparation and management of prescriptions behind the scenes, working closely with the Pharmacist and pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations and compliance with safety standards.
This is a full-time permanent position working around 40 hours per week Monday-Friday (8am-5pm) based in Knaresborough.

Ideal Requirements for the Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT)
- A qualified ACT.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in a distance selling or community pharmacy.
- Ability to handle prescriptions and medication orders with precision.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Role Responsibilities for the Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT)
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under the supervision of the Pharmacist, ensuring all guidelines are met.
- Provide excellent customer service through digital platforms, phone and email addressing all queries and offering advice.
- Use Pharmacy software to manage patient information, prescriptions, and orders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient medication history, prescription and dispensing activities.
