Accounts/Office Manager - £40k - Immediate Interviews
Our client is a highly successful and expanding family manufacturing business. Due to ongoing growth, they urgently require an Accounts/Office Manager to take responsibility for a wide range of functions with the Finance Department. The successful candidate will be able to work closely with their External Accountant and also manage a small team. THE ROLE As Accounts Manager you will assume responsibility for co-ordinating the day-to-day operations of the business, specifically the administration, and finance functions and to ensure that effective support is provided to the entire management team. Oversee the sales and purchase ledger Updating banking transactions and reconciling statements Preparing and submitting VAT returns Managing supplier payment runs Running monthly reports and following up on outstanding debt Checking payslips and entering payments into the bank Comfortable with 2 Second Lean principles, focusing on making small, continuous improvements as part of daily work Provide an effective Credit Control service to the company. With the Managing Director, review and improve company procedures and systems and develop more effective approaches to management information gathering.
