This is a varied role for someone who enjoys improving processes, maintaining strong financial control and turning accurate information into useful insight for the Managing Director and Board. Duties: • Lead, support and develop the accounts team, setting clear priorities and maintaining a high standard of service. Produce accurate monthly management accounts, review results for anomalies and explain key findings to the Managing Director and Board. Maintain the integrity of Xero and the ledgers, including bank, petty cash, credit card, balance sheet, WIP, accrual, prepayment and fixed asset reconciliations. Manage cash flow, prepare payment runs and authorise payments within agreed limits. Generate monthly payroll, including management of commissions, deductions, pensions, staff loans and statutory year-end reporting.
