This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice accountant who is ready to step into a more senior role, taking ownership of accounts and tax work while developing greater responsibility and contributing to the development of junior team members.Key Responsibilities Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders and limited companiesReconciliation of profit and loss accounts and balance sheetsPreparation and submission of corporation tax returnsCompletion of self-assessment tax returnsHandling quarterly Making Tax Digital (MTD) income tax submissionsSupporting and mentoring junior members of the teamWorking across a range of accounting software including Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and IRIS Requirements 2 3 years experience working within an accountancy practice environmentAAT qualified (or equivalent qualification/experience considered)Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and tax complianceConfident using cloud-based accounting softwareHigh attention to detail with strong organisational skillsAbility to manage workload and work to deadlinesGood communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients and colleagues ..... full job details .....
