Senior Accountant We are seeking a Senior Accountant to manage a diverse portfolio of clients including SMEs, owner-managed businesses, limited companies, and LLPs. This role is ideal for a qualified accountant who is adept at building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality accounting services. Day-to-day of the role: Manage and oversee statutory accounts and corporation tax returns preparation and review. Prepare and review personal tax returns for business owners and directors. Serve as the primary contact for clients, fostering strong, lasting relationships. Support Partners and Managers in the delivery of client work and advisory projects. Review work prepared by Semi-Seniors and Apprentices, ensuring technical accuracy. Provide mentorship and support to junior team members within the team. Efficiently handle communications with HMRC and respond to client queries. Assist with VAT compliance and collaborate with specialist teams like Payroll, Company Secretarial, and Audit as needed. Ensure all assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines. Required Skills and Qualifications: ACA/ACCA qualification or strong QBE (Qualified by Experience). Proven experience within a UK accountancy practice. Strong capability in managing client relationships with minimal supervision. In-depth knowledge of accounts and taxation. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a reliable team member. ..... full job details .....
