Accounts Senior

My client, a successful and established accountancy practice, is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Accountant to join their growing Altrincham office. This is a fantastic opportunity for an AAT qualified (or above) accounting professional with strong general practice experience who enjoys a hands-on, client-facing role.Reporting to the Client Director, the successful candidate will manage a varied portfolio of clients, deliver high-quality accounting and tax services, and play an important role in supporting both clients and colleagues within a supportive and forward-thinking practice.Duties will include:Managing a portfolio of clientsPreparing accounts for limited companiesCompleting self-assessment tax returnsPreparing corporation tax computations and returnsMonitoring deadlines, workflow and billing targetsBuilding strong client relationships and providing trusted adviceSupporting trainees and colleagues with development and technical guidanceUsing systems including IRIS, Sage, DEXT and XeroTo be suitable for this role you will have:Minimum 5 years'' experience within an accountancy practiceAAT qualified or aboveStrong experience with self-assessment tax returnsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCommercially aware with a proactive approachStrong organisational and reporting skillsFull UK driving licence essentialThis roles offers a basic salary of 35,000 - 40,000 per annum plus and excellent benefits including:36 days holiday including Bank Holidays ..... full job details .....
