Accounts Senior

An independent accountancy practice is seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Senior to join its friendly and supportive team.The firm is a professional and collaborative practice with a total of 14 employees, including a dedicated accounts team of 9. The team is a strong mix of recently qualified Chartered Accountants, AAT-qualified and part-qualified staff, as well as experienced QBE professionals. The business places a strong emphasis on team development and maintaining a positive, supportive working environment.The Accounts Senior will play an important role within the accounts team, working with a varied portfolio of clients and contributing to the delivery of high-quality accountancy services. The role offers a good level of autonomy alongside team support. Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of year-end accounts for a wide range of clientsManaging client relationships and responding to queriesSupporting and reviewing work prepared by junior team membersEnsuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and deadlinesAssisting with general practice work as requiredCandidate ProfilePrevious experience in a similar role within an accountancy practiceIdeally AAT qualified or qualified by experience (QBE)Study candidates will be considered for the right individual, though this is not essentialStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWorking Hours and BenefitsFull-time position (37.5 hours per week)Flexible ..... full job details .....
