Accounts Senior

A well-established accountancy firm based in Otley is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Senior to join its team. This is a varied role working with a portfolio of small and medium-sized businesses, with strong support from senior management and the directors.

The role offers hybrid working, flexible start and finish times with 26.5 days holiday + stats.

The role will include:

• Preparation of limited company year-end accounts and corporation tax computations for partner review.
• Preparation of sole trader and partnership accounts and tax returns.
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts, both in the office and at client premises.
• Bookkeeping and VAT, including reviewing work prepared by others and identifying errors and improvements.
• Working closely with clients and managing deadlines across a varied SME portfolio.
• Full support available from the firm''s Personal Tax Manager and senior management team.

The ideal candidate will have good practice experience and a strong understanding of working with small and medium-sized businesses.
