ACCOUNTS SENIORMANCHESTER£35,000-£50,000THE OPPORTUNITYAn established accountancy practice is looking to appoint an Accounts Senior to join its Manchester team on a permanent, full-time basis.This is a varied role involving responsibility for a portfolio of owner-managed businesses across a range of sectors. You will prepare and review year-end accounts, management accounts, VAT returns and tax computations while acting as a key point of contact for clients.The position would suit an experienced practice accountant or accounts senior who can manage assignments from initial records through to completion, resolve queries directly with clients and support the development of junior colleagues.THE ACCOUNTS SENIOR ROLEPreparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companiesManaging accounts assignments from the planning stage through to completionProducing corporation tax computations and company tax returnsPreparing personal tax returns for individuals and business ownersProducing monthly and quarterly management accountsPreparing and reviewing VAT returnsReviewing bookkeeping records and resolving errors or discrepanciesReviewing work completed by junior members of the teamProviding clear feedback and practical support to trainees and less experienced colleaguesManaging a portfolio of clients and monitoring upcoming deadlinesActing as a regular point of contact for clientsResponding to accounting, tax and general business queriesIdentifying issues within ..... full job details .....
