Accounts Senior - Accountancy Practice, DoncasterBarber McLelland are working in partnership with a dynamic accountancy firm who are recruiting an experienced practice accountant for the position of Accounts Senior.The firm have experienced significant growth and anticipate this to continue, they support a varied client base of mainly SME''s across the region, providing these clients with a full range of accounting, audit, business advisory and taxation services.Responsibilities and DutiesThe role of Accounts Senior will be responsible for the following dutiesManage an allocation of clientsPreparation of Statutory Accounts to partner reviewPoint of contact for a number of clients within an allocated portfolioPreparation of Business TaxPreparation of Management AccountsManage client queries and issuesPotential to develop audit experience if so desired (training to be provided if limited experience)Qualifications and SkillsThe successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience working within a firm of accountants with the experience of preparing statutory and management accounts with minimum supervision, ideally a qualified ACA or ACCA or an individual who has developed significant practice experience without taking formal qualifications.The role requires an enthusiastic individual who can at times work on their own initiative and is well organised, who is looking to work within a forward thinking, dynamic practice.The business, in return, will offer an excellent ..... full job details .....
