What will the Accounts Senior role involve?

• Leading the preparation of financial statements and management accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Managing bookkeeping and VAT affairs, including timely submission of VAT returns, and overseeing tax computations for individual and SME clients.
• Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing high-quality financial advice and support.
• Assisting with compliance and ensuring adherence to current financial regulations and best practices.
• Supporting junior team members and contributing to continuous process improvement within the department.

Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Senior vacancy:

• Proven experience in accounting, particularly with SME and individual clients, with a strong understanding of UK accounting standards.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities efficiently.
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach, with a desire to develop and progress within the finance sector.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, with a good grasp of VAT, tax computations, and prepare Financial Statements.
