Accounts Semi-Senior

The Opportunity My client who are an independent and friendly firm of accountants are seeking an accounts semi-senior to join the team to assist the accounts and outsourcing team. This is an important role that will contribute directly to growth in the business. Key Responsibilities • Preparation of FRS102, 102 1a and 105 accounts • Preparation of corporation tax returns • Preparation of personal tax returns • Assisting the accounts team in ad-hoc tasks • Assisting the outsourcing team during busy periods Essential Experience and Skills • Practice experience, ideally 4+ years • Ideally studying towards AAT, ACCA or ICAEW or already qualified (Study Support available) • Ability to work in a fast paced environment during busy periods, multi-tasking ability is essential • Candidates with a very good level of understanding of all aspects of an accounting practice i.e. VAT, PAYE/NIC, Accounts, Tax, Bookkeeping would stand out as a strong contender for the role Personal Attributes • Self-motivated and proactive • Strong communication skills • Commercially minded • Able to work independently and as part of a team To apply for the role please send in your CV with a short covering note (not AI generated!) about why you are suitable.
