Accounts Semi Senior

Our client, based in Kent, is excited to announce that they are looking for a new Semi-Senior Accountant.They are an independent accountancy practice providing services to individuals, businesses, and not-for-profit organisations across the UK and Europe.This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client portfolio while developing technical expertise in a supportive and fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities• Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with HMRC requirements.• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records using cloud accounting software, including Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.• Support month-end and year-end accounting processes.• Assist with Making Tax Digital (MTD) for ITSA, including digital record-keeping and quarterly submissions.• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing professional support and guidance.• Assist in the preparation of financial accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships across a range of industries.Requirements• AAT studier or qualified by experience.• Minimum 2 years'' experience within an accountancy practice.• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.• Proactive, client-focused approach with strong communication skills.Benefits• Ongoing professional development and training.• 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with additional leave on your birthday and Christmas Eve.• Two paid volunteering days per year.Should you have any questions or wish to apply please ..... full job details .....
