Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Accounts Semi Senior to join a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Helston. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress their career within a supportive and collaborative environment, with a strong emphasis on professional development and work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of financial statements for limited companies
- Production and submission of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and small businesses
- Liaising with clients, HMRC, and internal teams to resolve queries efficiently
- Assisting with the preparation of self-assessment tax returns (desirable)
- Reviewing and submitting VAT returns
Requirements
- Currently studying towards a relevant professional qualification (e.g. AAT, ACCA, ACA)
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
