Accounts Senior or Semi Senior (Practice)Salary: Up to £40,000 per annumContract: 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Potential to Become Permanent)About the RoleA well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice based in the Yate area providing accounting, tax and advisory services to a broad range of owner-managed businesses and individuals.We are seeking an experienced Accounts Senior or Semi Senior to join the team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for the role to become permanent. This is an excellent opportunity for a practice professional who enjoys working with a varied client portfolio and is looking to join a collaborative and supportive team.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of statutory accounts for a portfolio of limited company clients.Preparation and submission of MTD quarterly returns.Production of management accounts for clients where required.Preparation of self-assessment tax returns, particularly as the practice enters its busy tax season.Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and provide ongoing support.Maintaining accurate accounting records and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.Working to deadlines whilst delivering a high standard of client service.Supporting the wider team with ad hoc accounting and tax work as required.Candidate ProfileThe successful candidate will:Have previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment.Be confident preparing limited company accounts from start ..... full job details .....
