Reed Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be supporting a successful and growing organisation in the search for an experienced Credit Controller to join their busy finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. Please note this is an Office based role working Mon - Fri 08:30 - 17:00 This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive finance professional who enjoys building strong customer relationships, reducing aged debt, and contributing to process improvements within a fast-paced environment. The role will play a key part in managing a high-volume accounts receivable function, processing over 4,500 invoices per month. The Role As Credit Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring timely collections, maintaining accurate customer accounts, and supporting the wider finance team with accounts receivable activities. You will also contribute to ongoing systems and process improvements that support business growth and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end credit control process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts. Proactively chase overdue payments via telephone, email, and structured collection processes. Build strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve payment and billing issues. Allocate customer payments and prepayments accurately, minimising unallocated cash.
