Accounts Receivable, Customer Service, Relationship Building, Team Collaboration, Microsoft Excel.Your Skills:• Must be able to handle the full AR lifecycle: invoicing, billing, receivables, etc.• Well-rounded experience - multi-skilled AR specialist (not limited to just invoicing or collections).• NetSuite experience (or similar ERP system) is important.• Experience with software subscription billing.• Must be comfortable managing high volume, low value transactions - a growing need as the business scales.About Actionstep:At Actionstep, we’re revolutionising legal practice management software. Accounts Receivable SpecialistThis role is all about keeping our cash flow healthy and our clients happy. You’ll own the end-to-end accounts receivable process from invoicing to collections, reconciliations, and reporting - playing a critical role in minimising bad debt and maintaining strong customer relationships.What You’ll Do:• Manage invoicing, cash collection, and reconciliations across multiple entities• Proactively follow up on aged debt and overdue accounts• Handle billing queries, disputes, and credit notes with professionalism• Maintain accurate customer records and AR reports• Collaborate closely with Sales, Support and Finance teams• Support month-end close and continuous improvement initiatives• Contribute to customer meetings and internal process development• Help shape finance best practices across our global operationsWhat You Bring:• Experience in Accounts Receivable or similar finance role• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills• Proactive, detail-oriented, and confident working independently• Strong Excel skills and ideally familiarity with NetSuite• A collaborative, customer-focused mindset• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities• A drive for continuous learning and process improvement• Experience in Accounts Receivable or similar role.• Excellent customer service skills, with a polite, tactful, and firm manner.• Confidence, professionalism, and perseverance.• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both face to face and over the phone.• Confident, approachable, and professional manner.• Resilience and drive to deliver brilliant service.• Questioning approach and use of own initiative.• Excellent attention to detail.• Ability to manage their own workload, prioritise and work well under pressure.• Bachelor''s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.• Personal Skills, Attributes and Behavioural Competencies:• Ability to work in both team and individual capacities.• Ability to manage multiple streams of work effectively.• Ability to manage your daily workload through best practice time management techniques.• Great communication and interpersonal skills.• Passionate about teamwork and collaboration.What we offer in return:• Further develop and grow your sales technique with the support and sponsorship of your sales leadership• Pension contributions• Private medical, dental and life insurance• Socials, lunches and team-building events• Outstanding office in Kings Cross, with free barista-made espresso drinks and free beer on tap• Relaxed and friendly team who genuinely care about and trust one another• Fantastic training and development opportunitiesIf you’re ready to bring your full-cycle AR expertise to a high-performing global SaaS team and thrive in an environment that values innovation, ownership, and collaboration we want to hear from you.
