A well-established, employee-owned international business is seeking an organised and proactive Sales Ledger Clerk to join its finance team at its Basildon Head Office.Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will play a key part in maintaining the sales ledger, supporting credit control processes, and ensuring the accurate processing of customer transactions across multiple entities and currencies.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous finance experience looking to develop their career within a fast-paced, global environment. The business supports ongoing professional development, including financial assistance towards qualifications such as AAT, ACCA, and CIMA.Key Responsibilities:Produce and process sales invoices and credit notesMaintain and reconcile sales order reportsManage credit control for allocated accountsCommunicate with customers, international partners, and logistics providersLiaise with internal commercial teams and coordinatorsResolve queries and disputes efficiently and professionallyProvide ad-hoc finance and administrative support to senior finance leadershipSkills and Experience:Essential:Previous experience in a similar roleExperience using Sage 50 or 200Strong Excel skillsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailStrong organisational and time management skillsProfessional communication skillsDesirable:Experience working with multiple currenciesExperience across multiple entitiesBackground in a fast-paced commercial or ..... full job details .....
