Accounts Receivable Clerk - Basildon, Essex - £28,000- £38,000 You''ll own the sales ledger end-to-end - not just chase debt, but shape how cash comes into the business. Joining a collaborative finance team at an established, growing industrial services company in Basildon, you''ll take charge of your own portfolio of customer accounts: raising and sending invoices, proactively chasing outstanding debt by phone, email and letter, and allocating and reconciling payments - including correctly applying CIS deductions where paying contractors have deducted at source. You''ll produce aged debtor reports for the Finance Manager, escalate overdue accounts, handle customer queries, and support month-end sales ledger close.
