Position: Accounts Receivable Clerk Contract Type: Temporary Location: Gloucester Hours: Full-time Start Date: Immediate Rate: From 12 per hourRole OverviewWe are looking for an organised and proactive Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate customer records, and ensuring all invoices are raised and collected in a timely manner. This role requires someone who can quickly adapt, work efficiently, and support the team during a busy period.Key ResponsibilitiesRaise and issue customer invoices accurately and on scheduleAllocate and process incoming paymentsMonitor customer accounts and follow up on overdue balancesPerform account and statement reconciliationsHandle customer queries promptly and professionallyMaintain up-to-date and accurate records within the finance systemSupport month-end processes as requiredLiaise with internal teams to resolve discrepanciesSkills and Experience RequiredPrevious experience in Accounts Receivable or Credit ControlStrong numerical and analytical skillsExcellent communication and customer service abilitiesHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage workload and meet deadlinesProficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systems (e.g., Sage, SAP, Xero, or similar)Ability to start immediately and hit the ground ..... full job details .....
