Accounts Payable Supervisor - Temp 6 months Location: Slightly outside ReadingRate: £19-19.50 per hour Start Date: ASAPAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and proactive Accounts Payable Supervisor to join the finance team on a 6-month contract for a Charity in Berkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional to lead a busy Accounts Payable function, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.Reporting to the Account Payable Manager, you will supervise the day-to-day activities of the Accounts Payable team, maintain strong supplier relationships, and help ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and support the Accounts Payable team, providing guidance and workload management.Oversee the end-to-end supplier invoice process, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.Manage payment runs, ensuring suppliers are paid in line with agreed terms.Resolve complex invoice, payment, and supplier account queries.Reconcile supplier statements and investigate outstanding items.Monitor AP performance and identify opportunities for process improvements.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial controls.Support month-end activities including accruals, reporting, and ledger reconciliations.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.Assist with ..... full job details .....
