We are keen to hire an Accounts Payable Supervisor with a mixed role involving invoice processing and team leadership responsibilities.What you''ll doAs Accounts Payable Supervisor, your duties and responsibilities will include:
Supervise and oversee the Accounts Payable teamResponsible for key ledger accounts, including processing invoices, setting up payments, and statement reconciliationSupport the Group Financial Operations Manager in organising payment runs and proposals to ensure a smooth processEnsure all supplier invoices are settled promptly and efficientlyLiaise with other departments such as Property, Commercial Finance, Finance Managers, and Management Accountants to ensure invoices are paid promptly and correctly recordedFollow procedures for new supplier onboarding and bank detail changes to prevent fraudOrganise and distribute invoices for approval, liaising with staff to ensure timely sign-offWho you''ll beTo succeed as Accounts Payable Supervisor, you should have:
Strong leadership skills, demonstrated through previous team leader or supervisor rolesProfessional experience managing high volumes of invoices in accounts payableExcellent prioritisation and time management skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsIntermediate Excel skillsExperience with SUN system is desirableA flexible, proactive attitude and willingness to propose and embrace new ideasWhat''s in it For You
