Accounts Payable Supervisor

Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with an exciting organisation based in central Oxford to recruit an Accounts Payable Supervisor. The Accounts Payable Supervisor will receive a salary of up to £39,000 along with other attractive benefits including a generous bonus.Primary responsibilities; Check, code, and post supplier invoices accurately in SAP Business ByDesign, ensuring correct allocation across entities, cost centres, and jurisdictionsManage and execute supplier payment runs (BACS, CHAPS, and international transfers), ensuring payments are made on time and in line with agreed payment termsMaintain and update weekly foreign exchange rates within SAP Business ByDesignReconcile supplier statements and resolve queries in a timely, professional mannerProcess and reconcile corporate credit card transactions and associated expense journalsMaintain accurate tracking spreadsheets and AP process documentationPrepare and post prepayment journal entries and reconcile prepayment schedulesOversee and assist with bank reconciliations across relevant entitiesKey experience and attributes; Proven accounts payable experience, ideally within a multi-entity or international finance environmentAAT Level 3/4 or equivalent - actively studying preferredStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and OutlookExperience supervising or mentoring a junior team memberExcellent attention to detail and a methodical, structured approach to workStrong written and verbal communication skills, ..... full job details .....
