Temporary to Permanent - Accounts Payable Supervisor - Gloucester Your new company Hays has the privilege of working with a client based in Gloucester within the manufacturing sector looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor due to the growth of the business and is looking on a temporary to permanent basis with the view to making the role permanent if both parties are happy. Your new role The Accounts Payable Supervisor will oversee an accounts payable team, direct the processing of invoices and payments, and manage expense accounts and budget reports. Overseeing a team of three Accounts Payable employees Fully office-based Supervisory Responsibilities:Interviews prospective employees and chooses the best applicant based on the skills, knowledge, and abilities required for the job.Trains and oversees employees involved in billing functions.Directs assigned tasks and provides assistance as needed.Assists with performance evaluations.Duties/Responsibilities:Oversees reports regarding cash flow ensure correct payments are made in a timely manner.Develops guidelines for proper handling and coding of invoices to maintain general ledger expense account and inventory records.Analyzes expense reports and other invoices for accuracy and eligibility for payment.Verifies payments before controllers signature is added by reviewing checks and vouchers.Reconciles accounts payable total and general ledger with other applicable records (e.g., subsidiary vendors'' ledger).Facilitates ..... full job details .....
