Accounts Payable Specialist 3-6 Month Temporary Contract (Potential to Extend)Location: NN3 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm (37.5 hours)Salary: £16.41 per hour Hybrid Working: 1-2 days working from home per weekWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a busy and fast-paced finance team on an initial 3-6 month temporary contract, with the potential for the assignment to be extended. This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Payable professional who enjoys working in a high-volume environment and is confident taking ownership of complex AP tasks while supporting ongoing process improvement projects. The Role:Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the purchase ledger function while helping to resolve historic issues and support wider finance initiatives. Key responsibilities include: Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficientlyCompleting supplier statement reconciliations and resolving discrepanciesProcessing historic invoices and clearing outstanding itemsEnsuring suppliers are submitting invoices to the correct location and following company processesInvestigating and resolving GRNI (Goods Received Not Invoiced) queriesLiaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice and payment issuesSupporting the Accounts Payable Manager with a variety of finance tasks and improvement projectsMaintaining accurate records ..... full job details .....
