About the Role
Based in Milton Keynes, this temporary Accounts Payable Specialist role sits within Manpower UK's Finance Operations team. The successful candidate will process supplier, dealer and employee payments accurately and on time. Duties include invoice handling, payment runs, account reconciliations, supplier management and expense administration, all while upholding strong financial controls and compliance. Working closely with stakeholders, the postholder investigates and resolves invoicing queries, nurtures supplier relationships and supports ongoing process improvements. There is also scope to assist with system enhancements and work alongside IT on technical fixes. Applicants should demonstrate solid accounts payable experience, attention to detail and confident communication skills. Pay ranges from £15.00 to £16 per hour.
Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Milton Keynes
Join our Finance Operations team as an Accounts Payable Specialist, where you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of supplier, dealer, and employee payments. You will be responsible for invoice processing, payment runs, account reconciliations, supplier management, and expense administration while maintaining strong financial controls and compliance standards.
Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will investigate and resolve payment and invoicing queries, manage supplier relationships, and support continuous process improvements. The role also offers the opportunity to contribute to system enhancements and collaborate with IT on resolving technical issues.
What We''re Looking For
- Previous Accounts Payable experience preferred.
- Strong reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
- Confidence communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups.
- Knowledge of SAP and Concur systems is desirable.
- AAT qualification (or studying towards) is advantageous.
