Accounts Payable Senior

Role: Accounts Payable Senior Location: Milton Keynes Salary - £35,000 - £40,000 An established and growing business in Milton Keynes are looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Payable to lead a busy purchase ledger function and support the continued development of a high-performing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines strong Accounts Payable and team leadership experience and ability for continuous process improvements. Key responsibilities:Supervising and supporting the Accounts Payable team on a daily basisManaging the end-to-end purchase ledger process, including invoice processing, coding, matching and approvalsReviewing supplier statement reconciliations and resolving outstanding queriesOverseeing supplier payment runs and ensuring compliance with internal controlsMonitoring supplier accounts and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholdersLeading month-end Accounts Payable activities, reconciliations and reportingReviewing VAT treatment across supplier invoices and expensesManaging employee expense processing and policy compliancePreparing payment forecasts and supporting cash flow planningDriving continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and system enhancementsMonitoring team performance against key KPIs and service levelsCreating and maintaining process documentation and controlsCoaching, mentoring and developing Accounts Payable team membersWorking closely with Finance, Procurement and wider business ..... full job details .....
