Accounts Payable

Orka Financial is recruiting an Accounts Payable professional for a permanent, full-time opportunity in High Wycombe. This is a fully office-based role offering £30,000-£35,000, depending on experience. The opportunity You will join a busy finance function and help keep supplier accounts, invoice processing and payment activity accurate and on schedule. The position suits someone who enjoys taking ownership, investigating differences and keeping clear records while working to firm deadlines. What you will be doing • Manage purchase invoices from receipt through to payment. • Prepare and coordinate accurate, timely supplier payment runs. • Investigate invoice discrepancies and act as an escalation point for more involved queries. • Maintain organised records of transactions and supplier-account activity. • Monitor outstanding accounts and resolve debit balances on the payables ledger. • Work with colleagues and suppliers to keep issues moving towards a practical resolution. What you will bring • Previous experience using accounts payable or finance systems; exposure to Business Central would be useful but is not essential. • Strong numerical skills and careful attention to detail. • Clear written and verbal communication. • The ability to organise competing priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlines. • A collaborative, resilient and solution-focused approach.
