Accounts Payable ManagerLocation: Dudley, West MidlandsSalary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annumWorking Pattern: Full-time, 5 days per week office-basedThe OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join a well-established and growing business based in Dudley. This role offers the chance to lead a high-performing purchase ledger function while playing a key role in driving process improvements, systems enhancements and automation initiatives across the finance department.Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments whilst helping shape the future direction of the function.Key ResponsibilitiesManage, mentor and develop a team of 3 Accounts Payable professionals.Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance.Drive continuous improvement across AP processes, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual intervention.Support finance transformation projects, including the implementation of automation tools and system enhancements.Maintain strong supplier relationships and resolve escalated queries effectively.Ensure payment runs are completed accurately and in line with agreed terms.Monitor key performance indicators and produce reporting for senior stakeholders.Work closely with the wider finance team to support month-end ..... full job details .....
