Accounts Payable Manager

Adele Carr Recruitment.We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join a busy finance team. Managing a team of 4 AP professionals, you will oversee the end-to-end accounts payable function, ensuring accurate processing, timely payments, strong supplier relationships, and continuous process improvement.Job Spec:Manage, develop and motivate a small Accounts Payable team.Provide coaching, training and performance management Oversee the timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, expenses and payment runsEnsure all payments are made Monitor aged creditor balances and ensure outstanding items are investigated and resolved.Maintain strong financial controls Maintain bank reconciliations and post journals for cash and loan movements.Raise occasional manual invoices to third parties and intercompany partners.Identify opportunities to streamline and standardise accounts payable processes.Lead continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing efficiency, accuracy and automation.Work closely with Procurement, Operations and other Finance teams to improve end-to-end processes.Support the implementation of new systems, tools and best practices.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure service delivery and process effectiveness.Support month-end and year-end close activities.Assist with internal and external audits and provide supporting documentation as required.Ensure adherence to VAT requirements and relevant accounting standards.Maintain ..... full job details .....
