We''re currently working with a couple of growing business in Newcastle that are-looking to appoint experienced Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable professionals on a contract basis. These roles are ideal for candidates who are available immediately and can quickly add value within a busy finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
• Managing supplier statement reconciliations
• Resolving invoice queries and building strong supplier relationships
• Preparing and processing payment runs
• Supporting month-end activities
• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with internal controls

About You:

• Previous experience within Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable
• Available immediately or at short notice
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables and data manipulation
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Confident communicator with a proactive approach to problem solving
