Accounts Payable Administrator / Purchase Ledger Clerk Salary: 29,500 per annumLocation: NorthamptonJob Type: Full Time Permanent About the Role We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous purchase ledger experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining accurate financial records. You will play a key role in ensuring supplier invoices are processed efficiently, payments are made on time, and accounts are reconciled accurately while supporting the wider finance function. Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficientlyMatching purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoicesReconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepanciesPreparing weekly and monthly payment runsManaging supplier queries via telephone and emailMaintaining accurate purchase ledger recordsPosting journals and assisting with month-end procedures where requiredProcessing employee expenses and company credit card statementsSupporting the finance team with administrative duties and reportingBuilding positive working relationships with suppliers and internal departmentsAbout YouPrevious experience within an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger roleStrong attention to detail and excellent organisational skillsGood working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting softwareAbility to prioritise ..... full job details .....
