Accounts Payable Experience

Your new companyHays are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant and Accounts Receivable Assistants on behalf of a large public sector organisation based in Exeter. These are excellent opportunities to join a busy finance team where full training will be provided and flexible working hours can be offered around childcare commitments.Your new roleAs part of the Payments team, you will support either the Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable function.Responsibilities may include:Processing invoices, payments and financial informationMaintaining accurate records and dataHandling supplier or customer queries via phone and emailSupporting the wider finance team with administrative tasksEnsuring information is entered accurately onto internal systemsAssisting with payment processing and financial documentationThese roles are primarily administration-focused rather than heavily finance-based, making them ideal for candidates with strong organisational and customer service skills.The positions are fully office-based in Exeter, working approximately 40 hours per week and paying 17.00 per hour via an umbrella company.What you''ll need to succeedPrevious administration experienceStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood communication and telephone skillsConfidence using Microsoft Office and IT systemsAbility to prioritise workloads and work to deadlinesPrevious experience within Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Finance Administration, Customer Service or a similar office ..... full job details .....
