Accounts Payable Controller

Highly successful construction company require experienced Accounts Payable Controller for a challenging and varied position, based at superb offices, in South-West London: Control of the Accounts Payable function ensuring all suppliers and contractors are paid in an accurate and timely manner Assisting the FD and MD with invoice and payment queries Reporting on outstanding payments and other KPIs Posting supplier payments and sending remittance advice Ensure the prompt resolution of supplier invoice queries Accurate coding and posting of supplier invoices Processing monthly BACS payment runs Responsible for supplier statement reconciliations Liaising with suppliers and budget holders regarding outstanding payments Checking employee expense claims and processing BACS expense payments Accounts payable KPI reporting including aged creditors Completion of monthly bank reconciliations Supporting month-end and year-end close Balance Sheet Reconciliations About you You will have proven Accounts Payable experience, ideally gained within the construction sector in a fast-paced, high volume environment In addition you will have excellent, verbal and written, communication skills The successful applicant will also be highly conscientious with a strong attention to detail Applicants will be able to work under pressure within a fast paced, changeable environment.
