We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join a growing finance team on a 6-month fixed term contract. The Role As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the purchase ledger function. Working closely with suppliers, operational teams, and colleagues across the wider finance department, you''ll ensure supplier accounts are managed effectively, and payments are processed accurately and on time. This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who thrives on organisation, problem-solving, and maintaining high levels of accuracy. Key Responsibilities Process high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and within agreed timescales. Verify invoice coding, approvals, and authorisation in line with company policies. Ensure invoices are posted to the correct entity, site, department, and nominal ledger. Process credit notes and supplier adjustments. Handle intercompany transactions and allocations where required.
