Accounts Payable Clerk

RECfinancial are supporting our long standing Leicester†based client in their search for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk who thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of the end to end purchase ledger process.Due to the company s location, this role is easily commutable from Wigston, Enderby, Syston, Thurmaston, Hinckley, Coalville, Loughborough and the wider Leicestershire area.Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of all supplier transactions. Your responsibilities will include:Processing high volumes of supplier invoices Completing 3 way matching (PO, delivery note, invoice)Reconciling supplier statements Preparing and processing monthly runsSupporting month end tasks including accrualsLiaising with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queriesMonitoring aged creditors Contributing to process improvements across the AP functionWe re looking for someone who brings both experience and the right mindset.
