Accounts Payable Assistant London £30,000- £35,000 + Bonus Events Hybrid/Remote Permanent - Part Time JasperRose are delighted to be partnering with an impressive events brand who are looking for a part-time Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team. Please note this role would be 2/3 days a week in office to start for onboarding then the expectations of 4/6 days a year in office once settled Details of the role:Coming in as the 2nd finance hire, this role reports to the Financial Controller and sits at the heart of a growing events business, this role would be coming in to setup robust processes in line with company procedures Key Responsibilities:Process a high volume of purchase invoices (circa 400 per week) accurately and efficientlyMatch and code invoices in line with company procedures for bank and credit card transactionsMonitor aged creditors and follow up on outstanding itemsReconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepanciesPrepare and process supplier payment runsPost daily bank transactionsRespond to supplier and internal queries Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable recordsEnsure compliance with company policies and financial controls including company invoices/receipts for transactionsAssist with month-end processes relating to accounts payableSkills required:2+ years finance experience, ideally from multi-site or hospitality business Experience with systems such as Xero and MS OfficeGood excel skills Strong attention to detailBenefits: ..... full job details .....
