We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated part time Accounts Payable Assistant to join a busy finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong purchase ledger experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Offering 18-20 hours per week.Key Responsibilities:Processing high volumes of purchase invoices, including scanning, coding (VAT), and accurate system entrySetting up and maintaining supplier accounts, managing vendor details, and handling queries or disputesPreparing BACS and cheque payments and assisting with payment runsMatching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes, and reconciling supplier statementsInvestigating and resolving invoice discrepancies and payment issuesProcessing staff expenses and petty cashSupporting month-end, year-end, and audit processesAbout You:Studying towards AAT/ACCA, qualified by experience, or with at least 2 years'' experience in an accountancy or practice environmentStrong communication skills with a proactive approach to learningHighly organised with excellent attention to detailAble to manage workload independently while contributing positively to the wider teamProfessional, adaptable, and comfortable working under pressureIn Return:Flexible working hours24 holidays plus bank holidays, increasing to 28 days with service4% pension contributionHealth scheme and eye care schemeHealthShield - employee wellbeing programmeYearly payrisesEmployee of the quarter awardsReferral ..... full job details .....
