This is an excellent opportunity to support a busy finance function, ensuring the smooth running of the purchase ledger process and maintaining strong supplier relationships.The successful candidate will be an organised and detail-oriented finance professional with previous accounts payable experience and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and efficientlyMatching, batching and coding invoicesReconciling supplier statements and investigating discrepanciesPreparing and processing weekly and monthly payment runsManaging supplier queries via email and telephoneMaintaining accurate purchase ledger recordsAssisting with month-end close activitiesSupporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties as requiredEnsuring compliance with internal financial controls and proceduresBuilding and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholdersPerson SpecificationPrevious experience within an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger positionStrong attention to detail and excellent ..... full job details .....
