Accounts Payable Assistant

We are currently recruiting a Temporary Accounts Payable Assistant to join a logistics company in Witham, Essex ASAP! This is an office-based role, working 9:00am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday, paying up to -12.82 per hour. This is an initial 6-week temporary position but could be extended.

Key Duties:

• Support the Purchase Ledger team to ensure all supplier invoices are managed in line with company policies and procedures.
• Managing the accounts inbox.
• Reconciling statements using VLOOKUP and other Excel tools.
• Posting and coding invoices.
• Dealing with invoice queries.
• Posting invoices and obtaining approval where needed for sign-off.
• Ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time.

Excel Requirements:

• Solid experience with VLOOKUP.
• Confidently able to navigate and manipulate Excel, moving efficiently between sheets and workbooks.

Experience Required:

• Minimum 2 years'' experience in accounts.
• Team player with good customer service skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
