Contract: Temporary – Full-Time or Part-Time (flexible hours available)

An excellent opportunity to join a friendly and professional finance team on a temporary basis. As Accounts Payable Assistant, you''ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and supporting the wider finance function. The role offers flexibility and can be adapted to suit full-time or part-time working hours.

• Process supplier invoices promptly and accurately, matching to purchase orders and delivery notes

• Resolve invoice queries and liaise with suppliers and internal teams as needed

• Prepare supplier statement reconciliations and support timely payment runs

• Assist with credit card and expense claim processing

• Input financial data accurately into the accounting system

• Support month-end close activities and general finance admin tasks

• Previous experience in an accounts payable or purchase ledger role

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Confident in using Excel and handling data entry

• Able to manage your workload effectively and meet deadlines

• Comfortable working as part of a team 

• AAT Level 2 (or equivalent experience) preferred but not essential 

• Experience in a similar finance support role 

• Temporary contract (initial duration to be confirmed)

• Flexible hours – full-time or part-time considered
