Temporary Accounts Payable Officer – Immediate Start
Location: Middlewich (Onsite)
Full Time – 37.5hrs per week
Rate: £14.50 - £15.50 per hour (Paid Weekly)
Duration: 3 months | Start Date: ASAP
We are currently supporting our client based in Middlewich with the recruitment of a Temporary Accounts Payable Officer to provide essential finance support over the next three months. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced AP professional who enjoys working in a busy environment and has strong attention to detail.
The Role:
- Processing 200–300 invoices per month, ensuring accuracy and timely posting.
- Handling queries and resolving discrepancies efficiently.
- Maintaining up-to-date records.
- Assisting with payment runs and ensuring suppliers are paid within agreed terms.
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
The Person:
- Previous experience in accounts payable / purchase ledger is essential.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage high-volume processing.
- Excellent attention to detail – able to spot and resolve discrepancies quickly.
- Confident communicator with both internal teams and external suppliers.
- Systems savvy – proficient in finance systems and Excel.
