This is an excellent opportunity for someone with around 6 12 months of finance experience who is eager to develop their skills and build a strong foundation in accounts and finance. THE JOB As Accounts Payable Assistant within the accounts payable team, you will manage the purchase ledger process, ensuring invoices, payments, and reconciliations are completed accurately and efficiently, while also supporting wider finance activities across the department. Your Key Responsibilities: Process purchase invoices accurately and on time. Maintain the invoice approval process and controls. Prepare and process supplier payments (BACS and cheques) Set up supplier accounts and resolve supplier queries. Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies. Perform bank reconciliations and cashbook postings. Manage multi-currency bank accounts. Support improvements and automation of purchase ledger processes. Assist with month-end reporting activities.
